Naffi was one of the many monikers of an exotic post-punk/dub duo formed in Earlstown, Merseyside, UK, consisting of Brenda Kenny (a.k.a. Brenda Ray),Brenda and The BeachBalls, Brenda Beachball Ray, and Gerry Kenny (a.k.a. Sir Freddie Viadukt, The Minister of Noise). They started out as a trio Naafi Sandwich, including "Captain Catchpole". releasing a 7" on Absurd Records in 1979. This was recorded in Didsbury, Manchester.
