Nekkid started in Atlanta, GA at the 9 Lives Saloon where Doug was running sound, Flathead Mike was bartending, and Dr. Rock and Neil were playing shows. The band quickly began playing all over the South East, inclucing NCs Heavy Rebel Weekender, and Elvis-fest. Dr. Rock moved to Maryland, Doug moved to the UK and Nekkid had a final showdown playing Twinkle-Dome at the world famous Star Bar. 3 years later, Jan 2011, Doug has formed a UK version of Nekkid, based in Leeds.
