Nia started writing songs at the tender the age of 13. With over 300 songs and a volume of poems now part of her own collection, Nia has become a uniquely compelling songwriter, lyricist and poet. Her musical training has helped to refine (but not define) the sounds of her youth which were deeply immersed in Welsh language folk lore with the cross-rhythms and hard-hitting sounds of European folk music.
