Nina Jayne Patrick began her recording career under the name N'Jay, winning the MOBO 'Best Unsigned Act' in 2001 and releasing her debut single, Chat Up Line, the following year on Go Beat Records. Following Nina's departure from her first label over creative control she was signed to Arista. Her first single using her real name Nina Jayne was 'Could've Been' and was released in 2004.
