NIYIRETH ALARCÓN Born in Garzón, department of Huila in southern Colombia, Niyireth Alarcón is a mezzosoprano with a warm voice and first-class singing technique. She studied music at the Conservatorio de Neiva, Conservatorio del Tolima and the Conservatorio Nacional y Escuela Superior de Arte of the University INCCA of Colombia. Her singing teachers were Fabio Buitrago, Esther de Rojas, Ana Saturia Franco, Rocío Ríos, María Pardo and Alexander Cuesta.
