NLB (Nik Bates) was born in Yokosuka, Japan on June 30th, 1992. He currently resides in San Diego, California and has lived there since he was 3 years old. His early influences included bands such as AC/DC, KISS, Led Zeppelin, The Steve Miller Band, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and many more along those lines.
