Novo Amor and Ed Tullett first crossed paths in November 2013. After showing an immediate appreciation for each other’s work, Ed, based in Brighton, spent time at Novo Amor (Ali Lacey)’s Cardiff home-studio, writing collaborative material. The pair released their first collaborative single, "Faux", via Brilliance Records and Dumont Dumont, in June 2014, and followed it up with "Alps" in April 2016.
