Ny'ne began his musical career when he was 15, signing to his first independent label with the band Pho 54. The band played from 1994-2001. This led to the start of his own cable access show, "The Pho Show." Ny'ne made the transition to hip-hop in early 2002, and joined The Ave Boys in 2003, shortly thereafter signing his first major deal with Titanium Avenue Records, a subsidiary of Universal Records.
