Oceans and Vessels started out by filling a need in their church’s youth group in upstate New York. With no formal name and no songs of their own, they were simply leading worship on a weekly basis in their church’s youth service. In 2008 they went from being a youth worship team to a full-fledged, ministry-oriented, indie worship band.
