Oh Caroline is the project/alias of singer-songwriter Joren van der Voort. Joren was born in Amsterdam (in The Netherlands) in 1983, where he grew up, went to school, went to college, wandered around and decided he wanted to be a songwriter. He fell in love with the great songwriters of the 60's and 70's: Carole King, Lennon & McCartney, Burt Bacharach, Randy Newman and Brian Wilson from the Beach Boys and his dream became to write songs just like them.
