The Ondráš Military Artistic Ensemble is located in Brno and its founder is the Armed Forces of the Czech Republic – Support and Training Forces Command. In 2004 it celebrated its 50th anniversary. The origins of the ensemble's activities go back as far as 1954. The Jánošík Amateur Military Ensemble of Song and Dance was originally established in Olomouc but was relocated to Brno under the same name in 1957.
