Open Star Clusters are an abrasive noise trio from Connecticut. Open Star Clusters writes not-quite-rock songs using atonal guitars, feedback loops, drums, and anything else they can plug into an amplifier. The group started as the solo project of Rick Visser in 2003. By the Spring of 2007 Open Star Clusters became a quartet, and hasn't stopped moving.
