Walter Kubiczeck, the leader of this orchestra, was a famous composer in the German Democrated Republic. He is famous for his soundtracks for movie and television, esp. for the TV-series "Das unsichtbare Visier" (the invisible visor), but wrote also popular music as well as instrumental orchestra pieces.
