Orquesta Ceiba was founded in 2004 in France at after a suggestion of the famous Cuban musician Reynaldo "El Loco de la Salsa" Oviedo who performed with greats such as Israel "Cachao" Lopez, Paquito Rivera, Juan "El Indio". Orquesta Ceiba, directed by Luc Bartoli and led by Jacques Laye sonero Solano (Costa Rica), is inspired by the great masters of Puerto Rico and New York Salsa.
