Painstate started as a small Sofia City Hardcore band, when 3 friends Nikolay Vankov, Venci Dimitrov and Emanouil Spassov decided to start their own project. The band was officially born in year 2007. At the current moment, the only original member remaining is Venci Dimitrov.
