Panic Two Dies formed in 1997. In late 1997, the group signed to the indies label, Thistle Music, and in April of 1998, Panic Two Dies released their first mini-album, "The Die is Cast". The album proved to be a minor hit in the visual underground, and Panic Two Dies went on to appear on the "Open Your Self" omnibus in March of 1999.
