Brainchild of Ananth Menon (guitarist, Galeej Gurus), and Ganesh Krishnaswamy (former bassist/vocalist, Kryptos), Parachute XVI was conceptualized as a band that was to allow them to combine their love for improvisation, the blues, and unconventional rhythm patterns. The duo went to work immediately, and wrote a few tunes, and recruited Snehal Pinto (former keyboardist, Galeej Gurus), and drummer Sachin Moogi (ex-Mad Zoya, IF).
