Parachuter formed as a three piece instrumental rock group in March of 2010, focusing on dynamics, mood, and sonic textures. Homage to a cold war test pilot, their name was inspired by Col. Joseph Kittinger’s experimental parachute jumps from over nineteen miles above Earth. After two months crafting a handful of songs, Parachuter tested their music on live audiences at house shows and venues around the Boston area.
