PAXTON was the most nominated band for the 1999 GLAMA Awards with nominations for "Best Band", Best New Artist" and "Song Of The Year" among such other artists as Ani DiFranco, Rufus Wainwright, and The B52s. During the summer of 1998 and into 1999 Paxton toured across America opening for bands including, Stephen Stills at The Fillmore, Da Da and The Tubes.
