Peña is an American post-rock/math-rock instrumental band. Their sound has been compared to the likes of Battles, Pele, Mogwai or Red Sparowes. The sound is built from melodic repetition, progressive builds, schizophrenic transitions and the occasional crushing wall of noise. Complex and dark one moment, upbeat and bright the next.
