Petr Lutka was born in Lipník nad Bečvou, Czechoslovakia on June 28th, 1952. He graduated with master degree in economy and theology. He started his musical career in 1970 with songs written by his classmate Jiří Zych, and later with translated songs of Georges Brassens, Mark Grechuta and Bulat Okudzhava and finally with song of his own.
