Brown, who is of Italian and Fillipino descent,[1] grew up in Guildford, Surrey with her parents and brother before moving to Weybridge at the age of eleven. Prior to this, at the age of seven she starred in various adverts and featured on billboards across London. At age twelve, she attended various musical theatre schools including Laine Theatre Arts to pursue a career in musical theatre. In 2007, Brown auditioned for the fourth series of The X Factor.
