Phono-Comb was a surf-rock/instrumental group from Toronto, Canada, active from 1993-1999. Members Don Pyle and Reid Diamond, drummer and bassist respectively from Shadowy Men on a Shadowy Planet were at the time on hiatus, but after playing a show with guitarist/graphic artist Jad Fair at a Toronto show, the three were enticed into a followup project. Dallas Good joined the team on guitar, and Jad Fair & Phono-Comb was born.
