Pienza Ethnorkestra was formed in 2001 by the duo of Daniel Jeand'heur (drums) and Thierry Bruneau (electric hurdy gurdy; plays in One Shot) who played and recorded under the name Pienza. They were later joined by James Mcgaw (bass; who plays among others in Magma) and started touring France. Two other musicians occasionally joined them for these shows: Greg THEVENIAU (bass, guitar; also plays in Snake Oil among others) and Boris BLANCHET (saxophone).
