Pill Thief was formed in 2007, Portland, Oregon. Members include Joseph Kucinski (vocals/bass), Chris Johns (Drums) and Loren Jackson (guitar). In the winter of 2007, Kucinski and Johns had concluded the recording of a studio project under the moniker Monaural, and was in the midst of a hiatus to promote the album.
