Pistol Whip was an American punk rock band formed in 1976. They are known as the first punk band from Erie, Pennsylvania. They recorded one single in 1977 on the Endangered Species label. In 1978, the band moved to Chicago, recorded a 10 song demo and changed their name to The Swingers. Smog Veil Records re-released the entire recordings in 2009 as the album Terminal along with a DVD.
