Plaitwrights is a Toronto duo consisting of 20-year-olds Xylk Lorena and Angela Abrenica. Though polar opposites, Xylk – a raw, lyrical genius and blazing performer - and Angela – an alternative, urban Ella Fitzgerald - work together to produce an eclectic sound that can never fit comfortably into one genre.
