Poetry of Shadows was a gothic rock band from Cova da Piedade, Portugal. Members included João Marques (vocals), Carmen Simões (vocals), Luis Miguel Dorival aka Oblivion (guitar), José Amaro (guitar) and João Oliveira (bass). They released their only full-length album "Spheres of Knowledge" in 1996, with a music style clearly influenced by the Fields of the Nephilim.
