Poised For The Worm was a hard rock band from Ontario, Canada. They were formed in 1995. The original lineup consisted of singer Al Grego, drummer Travis Watts, guitarists Gerald Fratzl, Eric Wright and bassist Steve Brown. Eric Left the band before they recorded their first album in 1998. Backup singer and keyboard player Hilary Blackmore joined the band in 2003.
