Poisonwood are an American melodic death metal band formed in 2009 in Conway, Arkansas, USA. The band is named after the novel The Poisonwood Bible by Barbara Kingsolver. They released their first EP, entitled Dark Days in January of 2010, and embarked on a small tour on support of the EP in July of 2010.
