Formed in 1992 Pompa was the first Lithuanian hip-hop band with classical gangsta rap texts on women, guns and crime. Looking back we can state clearly that it was a true phony scam with producers behind their backs who wanted this to be an oppostion to rampant cheeesy pop music of those days.
