Poro started as a backup band for 'the girl and the donkey'- act in Tabasco, Mexico, in 2003. After a 2 year break, the band re-assembled in 2005 and started making their own music that has been described as pseudo hardcore alternative rock. Energetic beats, heavy guitar riffs and punk-pop lyrics give the music a feel-good vibe, but the over-all sound can be like a bad burrito from a seedy street seller.
