Preghiera di Sasso were from Abruzzo and formed around 1971. They played many of the festivals of the day and were active on the live local scene. Influenced by heavy English rock and prog instrumentals, and jazz-fusion, they ended up somewhere in the Duello Madre and Cincinnato territory as jamming, exploratory Italian jazz rock.
