About Primal State Primal State are a female fronted heavy metal band, combining old-school raw metal with punchy rap vocals, killer guitar riffs and funky bass-lines. The band was founded over ten years ago by Jay Moore, 24 (drums) and Tom Stedman, 25 (guitar). They began playing music together at school, and quickly progressed to writing and recording.
