End of April 1986... the town of Pripyat, Ukrainean Soviet Republic: preparations for another official mass celebration of May 1st are in full swing. However, April 26th starts with a disaster - the reactor of the 5 km distant Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant explodes. No one is told anything, the authorities remain quiet.
