Rökkurró is an Icelandic five-piece folk-rock band from Reykjavík, Iceland formed in 2006. They released a four-track EP six months after their formation, which helped to gain them a record deal with a local label: 12 Tónar. They released their first album Það kólnar í kvöld... (It gets colder tonight) in November 2007. In June 2008 Rökkurró toured Germany, The Netherlands and Switzerland supporting Ólafur Arnalds.
