Dutch band Rainbow Train was formed in 1975 as an occasional outlet for songwriter/musician Hans Vermeulen, who just had disbanded Sandy Coast. The group did a great deal of session work, e.g. for Dutch singer Anita Meyer. In 1979 Vermeulen shortened the group's name to Train. Read more on Last.fm.
