Raise the Shield is currently a one-man heavy metal outfit from Indianapolis, Indiana, USA. It is helmed and guided by principal songwriter, performer and multi-instrumentalist Dave Cardwell, who produced his first demo release, "Shocked Awake" in August 2006.
