Rare Futures (formerly known as Happy Body Slow Brain) began as the brainchild of multi-instrumentalist Matt Fazzi during his tenure with San Francisco progressive-rock band Facing New York. It started as a side-project attempting to combine Fazzi’s love of heavy rock groove, Motown soul, and 80′s synthesizers in one harmonious package.
