Raul Picaporte, born September 19th, 1982, is a Spanish guitarist/singer who moved to Puerto Rico when he was 2 and grew up there. In addition to being a prolific songwriter, Raul also records most of his own material himself, usually with lo-fi sound quality. The best example of this is his album "Conversations With Prostitutes," recorded in 2003 in Hong Kong, China, where he was participating in an exchange program.
