A native of Rustbelt suburbia, Rebekah Jean came to performing like so many others by singing in her church choir. Influenced by the music of Patty Griffin, Loretta Lynn, Willie Nelson, Joni Mitchell, and Ani DiFranco, she quickly spread her wings and explored other musical outlets.
