Rebel9's real name is Hamid Khan Zafar, originally from Afghanistan but now living in Sweden. His interest in electronic music begun when he heard Vangelis, Jean Michell Jarre and Brian Eno when he was a small kid. Beautiful laidback music has always been a big passion of him. The idea of putting together some of his chillout favorites aroused in 2000. Hamid put together a mix and sent it to some friends. They loved it!
