Reinhold Moritzevich Glière (Russian: Рейнгольд Морицевич Глиэр, Rejngol’d Moricevič Glier) (January 11 [O.S. 30 December 1874] 1875 – June 23, 1956) was a Russian post-romantic composer. He was born in Kiev. Glière entered the Kiev school of music in 1891, where he was taught violin by Otakar Ševčík, among others.
