Rekanize (aka Donovan Fannon) was an awkward youth in the suburbs, attending the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts when the mid 1990s rave scene hit. Eagerly adopting what shreds of club-kid culture happened to filter down into New Orleans, he tried his hand at DJing, evolving from popular styles and genres until focusing on Gabber, Jungle & Drum and Bass.
