Restos Mortais de Isabel were born, mainly, due to the need that its founding members (António, Paulo e Tó) had to persue their musical aspirations, soon after the dismembering of Anomeos by mid 1989. The line up came from that previous band which, in its last days, already had Paulo as a drummer, while António and Tó kept their functions. Also, the musical progression came from the natural evoltion of that same band.
