Restricted Code existed from around 1978 to 1981. The band formed in Glasgow and made records, did John Peel sessions, toured extensively. Tom Cannavan, vocal/guitar Frank Quadrelli, guitar/vocal Kenny Blythe, bass/vocal Steve Lironi, drums (replaced Robert McCormack) The band was formed by Tom Cannavan and Frank Quadrelli, friends since schooldays who'd played in bands since they were 16 or so.
