Rheinkaos was formed, as a project, during the autumn of 2007 by Jim "Boudy" and Nick H. both former members of the rock band Enoxes Skespeis. The concept behind Rheinkaos' initial endeavor was to experiment with ambient and minimal structures while maintaining a heavy metal identity.
