The Rhythm Devils are a band led by Grateful Dead drummers Bill Kreutzmann and Mickey Hart. As a duo, they were recruited by director Francis Ford Coppola to record the soundtrack to the film "Apocalypse Now". From 1979 to 1980, Hart and Kreutzmann recorded sessions at the Grateful Dead's Marin County studios and Hart's barn in Novato.
