Having left Dutch P-funk outfit Gotcha! in 1995 due to tension and conflict, founding Gotcha! member, guitarist and singer Ro Krom (1969, a.k.a. Robadope Ro) started a new band called Ro & Paradise Funk, a more soulful and melodic funk band featuring Manuel Hugas (bass), Martijn Bosman (drums) and Nico Brandsen (keyboards).
