Robbie Danzie was born and raised in St.Louis, Missouri and started out singing professionally at a very young age. Robbie Danzie teamed up with the all-female r&b group Krystol where she was originally recruited as a stand-in for Karon Floyd during her maternity leave in 1985 but soon became lead vocalist for the group.
